Maldives Ports Limited has requested boat owners docking in the Male' North Port to register their vessels with the company after the port was handed over to the company.
MPL said the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has signed an agreement with the company to operate the port from June 4, 2025, to the crossroads of the local market in front of the fish market.
MPL added that this port would be operated by Male' North Habor.
The company stated that vessels that are not registered in this port should be registered in the North port before August 1.
It added that only vessels registered at the port will be given services at the port.
Also, MPL asked all users of the port to comply with the port operating rules from September 1.
