Elections Commission says more than 97,000 voters have cast their votes in the first 3 hours of voting in the Presidential Run-Off being held today.

The Commission said that by 11:00 a.m. this morning 97,220 people had voted in the election. It said that this was 34.38 percent of the eligible voters for the run-off.

The Commission also said that the voters who cast their ballots include 44,763 women and 52,457 men.

Voting began at 08:00 a.m. this morning and will be closed at 05:00 p.m. in the evening.

The Commission confirmed that by 11:00 a.m., a total of 185,584 voters had yet to cast their ballots in the run-off. A total of 282,804 voters are eligible to cast their votes in the election today.

This is 409 voters more than that was eligible in the first round of voting held earlier this month.
