President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih says he believes that he can win the September Presidential election in one round and that how it can be done is becoming more clearer.
Speaking to reporters after a door-to-door campaign activity, back in 2018 he went to the people and asked them what they want from their President and strived to achieve these things.
President Solih said that back then the residents of Male' highlighted the housing issue as the most pressing one and right now it is almost all but resolved.
He stated that the opposition is trying to distort what has been achieved under his administration and highlighted that he would prioritise reminding the people of what has been achieved in the last five years as a key part of his campaigning.
Defense Minister Mariya Ahmed Didi along with MDP Parlimentarian Meekail Naseem accompanied the President at Yesterday's door-to-door activity in Galolhu ward of Male' in which the President visited some houses in the area and spoke with its residents.
