The first meeting of the Save FAM campaign will be held tonight as part of the work to reform the Maldivian Football Association and local football.

The meeting will be held at 8:45 pm at the Asaree Hall on the third floor of the Shea Building.

Those organizing the meeting said that invitations have been sent to former national team players, football organizers, and working at the club levels across the country.

The meeting is expected to see discussions on the current state of football in the country and how the campaign is going to affect the future of the sport in the Maldives.

The campaign, which was launched with the slogan "Save FAM", was launched by a group of people concerned about the problems in football after Maldives crashed out of the group stage of the recently held SAFF Championship in India.

It was first time it the tournament's 26 year history that the Maldives went out in the group stages of the regional competition.
