Bank of Maldives has celebrated the success of its Graduate Internship Program and announced the continuation of the program for the fourth year with 15 new graduates and students from local higher education institutions.

BML said that the 12-month internship program allows students to gain on-the-job experience and provide a pathway to permanent employment within the bank and other financial institutions in the Maldives.

It said that interns will be rotated across a number of business units, departments, and branches to gain experience and develop skills. Each intern is assigned to a mentor to guide them through their time at the bank.

The Bank said that it BML Graduate Internship Programs provide the opportunity to be part of the best-paying internship program offered in the country.

It said that interns earn as they receive their on-the-job training and upon successful completion of the program, will be eligible to apply for full-time positions at the Bank.

“This program has helped us nurture fresh graduates to gain valuable job experience. We can proudly say that 80% of individuals progressed to work as full-time employees at the Bank and other institutions after the completion of the program.
