Police have imposed a travel ban on the younger brother of the former President and current Speaker of the parliament.
The travel ban against Nazim Sattar, who is a lawyer by profession, came amid the controversy surrounding him after a video of him allegedly having same-sex relations with a Bangladeshi national went viral yesterday.
Police had said that they had imposed a travel ban on Nazim via a court warrant and that it is regardless of whether he is yet to renew his passport.
Police had summoned Nazim to its headquarters and questioned him but both sides have not confirmed what the inquiry had been about.
Nazim had denied that it was him in the leaked video but many who had seen the video claim that it was the lawyer without a doubt.
Also, the facial recognition tool developed by Professor Hassan Ugail also determined that it was in fact Nazim in the leaked video.
