Authorities have released three suspects arrested in relation to the stabbing incident reported in Addu City Feydhoo earlier this month.
The incident between two rival gangs had left a 21-year-old youth with fatal injuries and he had later succumbed to the wounds. The victim was identified as Mohamed Zayaan Moosa of Solih, Feydhoo.
Police had initially arrested a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old in relation to the case. But they had also arrested three others who had attempted to disrupt the harmony while the 16-year-old was being arrested.
They include two 18-year-olds and a 29-year-old man.
The Court had released these three men.
The 21-year-old victim had died at Addu Equatorial Hospital as he was rushed to the hospital following the stabbing.
The hospital had confirmed that the victim succumbed to his injuries while under treatment in the ICU of the hospital.
It also said that the victim had stab wounds on his back and forearms.
