A youth who was injured in a stabbing incident in Addu City last night has succumbed to his injuries.
The youth had been rushed to Addu Equatorial Hospital after the stabbing and the hospital has just confirmed that the injuries had proven fatal and that the young man had passed away.
The media official from the hospital had further said that the young man was brought into the hospital last night and that he had been in the ICU for critical treatment.
The Official also said that most of the deep stab wounds were located on the victim's back and forearms.
Police had also confirmed that a man had been injured in a stabbing last night in Addu City and that the report of the incident had come in around 3:10 in the morning.
Police had further said that a 21-year-old man had been injured in the incident and that no suspect had yet been taken under custody in relation to the case.
