Local actress Hunaisha Adam has been charged with drug trafficking offenses.
The charges followed her arrest last March after she was taken under custody along with her boyfriend. Police had also said that drugs were found at the house where they were arrested.
It has been reported that Hunaisha had been accused of trafficking diamorphine and cannabis and had been charged for the two offenses separately.
Additionally, she had been accused of other charges under the narcotics act.
Charges have also been filed against her boyfriend.
Hunaisha has appeared in several films by the production house Dark Rain Entertainment and has been notable in her appearance the in web-series 'Huva'.
She has also garnered much support on social media, especially TikTok.
