A local man has died after falling from a building on a resort in Raa Atoll.
Sources have said that the deceased is a 28-year-old man originally from Fuvahmulah City.
After the fall, the man was rushed to the regional hospital in Ungoofaru around 1:50 in the morning.
Speaking to 'The Press' Senior Customs relations officer at the hospital Hassan Fazeel said that the man had visible physical injuries when he was brought in after the fall.
Fazeel said that the victim's body has been sent to Male' and that it had arrived at Male' around 06:15 am in the morning.
Regarding the incident, Police had said that the man had fallen to his death from the 4th floor of the building.
Police also said that according to the hospital, he was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
They said they were further investigating the incident.
