O'level exam kicks off across the nation with more than 5,000 students sitting for the exam this year.
The O'level exams would continue till the 10th of June this year.
The Education Ministry had informed that students would sit for the O'level exam at 239 centers in the Maldives while exam centers have been set up in both Lanka and Malaysia for local students there.
It confirmed that a total of 5,939 students would be sitting for the O'level exams this year.
In the past years, the O' level exams have been disrupted by the COVID pandemic with exams postponed one year at the height of the pandemic.
