Bank of Maldives BML has announced that it would be open for services next Saturday, April 30th ahead of the Fit'r eid holidays.

In a statement, BML confirmed that this decision follows central bank Maldives Monetary Authority MMA's decision to open for services next Saturday due to the 7-day long fit'r eid holidays.

BML said that the Bank will be closed from 1st - 7th May during the Fit'r Eid holidays.

It said that cheque deposits, payroll and transfer requests received before 11 am on 30th April will be processed on the same day.

BML also said that requests received after the cutoff time will be processed on the next working day. To avoid any inconvenience, we advise customers to complete the requests prior to the cutoff time.

The Bank added that self-Service Banking Centres across the country will continue to provide a deposit, withdrawal and transfer services 24 hours a day.

It said that cash Agents on inhabited islands will also be available to provide basic banking services to customers during the holiday period.
