Police have confirmed that a young man who was reported missing has been found safe and sound.
Missing persons report for 23-year-old Ahmed Viam of Daisy Hiya of Lhaviyani Hinnavaru was lodged at the police on the 19th of this month and police began the search for the youth last Wednesday.
Police confirmed today that the youth had been found and that he was safe and sound.
They stopped short of revealing any more information about the case.
Police have said before that they appreciate the public's help in resolving such cases.
