A dead body has been found in a house in Maafannu Ward of Male' City today.
Police said that the report of the discovery came in around 08:30 am today and that a 49-year-old local man was found dead at a house.
Police further said that they were further investigating the case.
Sources have reported that the dead body was found from Maafannu Hinton house in Male'.
With the rise in sudden deaths in the country, the discovery of dead bodies has now become commonplace in the Maldives too.
Most of the time, drug overdose is the key reason behind the deaths in such incidents.
