Maldives Transport and Construction Company MTCC have commenced cycle ferry services between Hulhumeedhoo and Feydhoo of Addu City.

MTCC said that the ferry that began its trips today would be able to carry 15 cycles and 60 passengers aboard each trip.

The company said each passenger would be charged MVR 20 for the cycle ferry services.

It also said that even with changes to tides and sea level, cycles would be loaded to the ferry easily with special lifts stationed at both Hulhumeedhoo and Feydhoo as well.

MTCC also said that the cycle ferry trips have been scheduled for 6 days of the week except on Friday and have published the ferry schedule.

It also said that as the company operating major transport services in the country, MTCC aims to provide quality and affordable sea and land transport in the country.
