Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed says the police have successfully executed a joint counter-narcotics trafficking operation in the last 24-hours.
In a tweet, CP Hameed said that officers from Drug Enforcement Department DED, Drug Intelligence, Marine Police & Forensics department were involved in the operation.
He said that during the operations, the officers had searched 10 locations and seized 100kg of narcotics. He said that the narcotics seized the operation were 100 kg of heroin.
Commissioner of Police also said that 10 individuals were arrested during the operation.
Hameed did not say where the operation was conducted nor did he give any more information regarding the operation.
