Police have arrested two more individuals after last night's violence between two gangs in Gaaf Alifu Maamendhoo resulted in the death of a 17-year-old boy who was fatally injured in the brawl.
Police have said that a total of three people have been arrested as a result of last night's violence and that there were arrested under a court order.
It said that a 27-year-old, a 23-year-old, and an 18-year-old were arrested in relation to last night's fight.
Police had reported that two siblings were critically injured following the fight between the rival groups in Maamendhoo last night and that this include 17-year-old Ahmed Udhayyu and his older brother.
Police had said that the teenager had succumbed to his injuries while under treatment at Gaafu Alifu Villigilli Hospital but the hospital had said that the boy had died before he had reached the hospital.
The victim's brother who sustained serious injuries in the fight is 21-years-old.
