The Bank of Maldives BML continues to support the ARC AID Programme that assists vulnerable children during the covid-19 pandemic with a donation of MVR 150,000.
Advocating the Rights of Children (ARC) provides vulnerable children and their families with basic food supplies under the program.
BML said that through this fund from the Bank, ARC will support children in islands requesting support in Haa Alif, Haa Dhaalu, Meemu, Faafu, and Dhaalu atoll.
It said that in the future, ARC aims to expand its aid by including more atolls.
During May, BML also donated MVR 50,000.00 to ARC for the ARC AID Programme to assist vulnerable children during the covid-19 pandemic. The funds were utilized to support 115 children in the Greater Male’ area referred to ARC by the Ministry of Gender, Family, and Social Services.
