A small dinghy that got lost along with the two passengers onboard while en-route to Raa atoll Kinolhas has been found.
The vessel along with its passengers were traveling from Raa atoll Maamunagau, when it was reported missing. Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) confirms they received report of the vessel missing earlier on Sunday. around 10:45hrs.
Meanwhile, the vessel was discovered later in the same day and MNDF confirms the vessel had been berthed at Kinolhas pier around 12:13hrs of Sunday afternoon.
MNDF continues to advise and caution local vessel operators, crews as well as passengers boarding sea vessels towards preparing for trips based on weather.
