A crewman on a fishing vessel traversing near Kaafu atoll Guraidhoo, has abruptly passed away amid trip.
According to Guraidhoo Health Center, the crew member was pronounced dead upon arrival to the center post incident. Moreover, the center confirms the individual was a 50 year old local male.
Meanwhile Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) claims receiving report of a crewman aboard a fishing vessel facing health issues amid trip. The authority further attests that they received the report around 16:20hrs of Saturday afternoon, adding the boat was approximately 3 miles out from Guraidhoo.
Furthermore MNDF confirms the individual was reported of facing breathing difficulties, and the deceased crew man was eating at the time of incidence.
