Police have confirmed that an elderly man had fallen to his death from the 6th floor of a residential building in Male’ last night.
Police said the report of the incident came in the early hours of this morning around 2: 36 am and that the man had fallen from the 6th floor of Henveiru Violet.
Police confirmed that the man was a 74-year-old local man.
Police added that it was further investigating the incident but did not divulge any more information about the incident.
Last month an expatriate worker died after falling from the 14th floor of a building under construction in Hulhumale’ on the 22nd of July.
Also last month, a toddler of 2 years fell from the 3rd floor of a housing flat in Addu City Hithadhoo.
