Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) in their weekly revenue report, updated as of 5 August - reviewing the week 26 July until 1 August - notes a revenue collection of MVR127 million.
According to Maldives taxation authority the total revenue to state for the review week hit MVR127,439,309.
The taxation authority further clarifies collection from Tourism Goods and Services Tax (TGST) hit MVR12,237,321 while collection from General Goods and Services Tax (GGST) hit MVR26,135,631 for the review week.
Moreover, MIRA reports the collection from non-resident withholding tax hit MVR757,684 while the collection from Green Tax hit MVR835,739.
Maldives Inland Revenue Authority further confirms a collection of MVR86,594,761 in other taxes and fees.
