Payments methods at local petrol stations have been improved to accept bank cash cards.
According to Bank of Maldives (BML) their cash cards will now be accepted for payment at the petrol refuelling stations of Fuel Supplies Maldives (FSM).
The petrol stations at both Male' City and Hulhumale' will now accept payment via cash card according to the bank.
Bank of Maldives have been pushing for online payment methods in the wake of the viral Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in Maldives. The national bank have encouraged its customers to opt both internet and mobile banking services for banking needs.
This has been encouraged by the national bank to observe proper social distancing in order to avoid possibility of the viral contagion's contract between person to person.
