Authorities have made arrests of two individuals for threatening officers of Maldives Police Service with death.
Local law enforcement authority confirmed one out of the two individuals was arrested late night on Saturday. Police further attests both suspects were now under police apprehension and added both were local males aged 30.
The individuals are alleged with threatening officers of Maldives Police with death and attempting obstruction of police duty against on-duty officers.
Police excused from revealing details of the case, simply disclosing they were currently probing the incident for more information.
