Ooredoo says it has partnered with Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology to enable civil service employees to access the government portals for free, enabling them to work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a statement Ooredoo said employees using Ooredoo’s SuperNet Fixed Broadband connections would now be able to access employee portals and online platforms to hold meetings and discussions required for their day-to-day work.

It said more details would be made available to government employees via the respective ministries.

Ooredoo has undertaken several initiatives to support communities at this time and will continue to work closely with the government of Maldives, HPA Maldives and other key stakeholders to support the nationwide awareness efforts for Covid-19
