Health Protection Agency HPA says samples taken from 3 Maldivians from Addu City have tested negative for Covid-19.

In a tweet HPA said the samples were taken from the 3 individual after they showed symptoms of Covid-19 and hence since tested negative for the virus.

Earlier today, HPA confirmed that a 3rd Maldivian had tested positive for the virus. HPA said the individual came back from the UK and had been under quarantine at the Royal Island quarantine facility.

Eighteen people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Maldives with 13 now declared cured of the virus.
