Health Protection Agency HPA says it has decided to discharge 10 people who have recovered from Covid-19 after being tested positive for the virus here in the Maldives.
Addressing the media, IGMH doctor Dr. Moosa Murad said the tech team has decided to discharge all the patients who have recovered from the virus except for the patients admitted at Dharumavantha hospital.
Dr. Murad said 10 individuals who were under HPA monitoring at the velidhoo Isolation facility has now been released. Dr. Murad also said tjay currently only the two Maldivians tested positive for the virus here in the Maldives remain under HPA monitoring.
Although 17 people tested positive for Covid-19 here in the Maldives, only 16 remain in the country.
Two Italians who completed 14 days of quarantine were tested positive for the virus after they departed back to their country.
The two Maldivians who tested positive for Covid-19 came back to the country from the UK where the virus has become rampant.
