A foreigner was discovered dead from a guesthouse in Maldives capital, Male' City on Sunday morning, 29 March 2020.
Maldivves Police Service confirm a Bangladeshi expatriate was found dead at a guesthouse situated in Kaasinjee Magu - Henveiru district.
Authorities confirm they received the report of the motionless individual around 09:10hrs on Sunday morning.
Moreover, Maldives Police confirm the expatriate had traveled from Meemu atoll Kolhufushi for medical check-up. It was reported that the Bangladeshi expat had consulted at ADK Hospital on Saturday for severe stomach pain.
The now deceased foreigner was expected to attend hospital for a second consultation on Sunday.
Further reports claim the foreigner showed signs of fever and nausea on Saturday night.
The foreigners demise was confirmed by a close associate who had visited the guesthouse to check up on him.
