The domestic airline, FlyMe has announced it will be temporarily discontinuing flight operations.
In a memo to its clients the airline is scheduled to temporarily hold off on their operatoins starting from Sunday, 29 March 2020, until further notice.
However, FlyMe confirmed its crew and flight officers were on stand-by if any emergency situations were to present itself.
The airline has decided to temporarily cease its operations in light of the rapidly spreading COVID-19 pandemic, that has dented the global aviation industry as well.
Meanwhile, domestic airline Manta Air announced ceasing its flight operations to specific locations while cutting down on flight numbers to operational destinations.
