President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih announces 3 patients previously tested positive for Covid-19 here in Maldives have now recovered.
With this 8 of the 13 people tested positive for Covid-19 have now been declared free from the virus.
All 13-tested positive for Covid-19 in Maldives are foreigners. But on Tuesday UAE reported a Maldivian national was tested positive for the highly contagious virus.
Foreign Ministry said it was working to confirm this report through the official channels but have yet to receive confirmation from the relevant authorities.
Government has taken several measures to deter the spread of the virus with public parks, café’s and restaurants closed for the time being.
