Male City council has begun the work to disinfect Hulhumale as authorities work to quell a massive outbreak of Covid-19 virus.
City Council is collaborating with Maldives National Defense Force, MNDF and fire trucks were utilized for the disinfection. This includes cleaning streets with chlorine water.
Male City council has also started disinfecting Male’ earlier this week with the help of MNDF.
As the country faces further precautions in its fight against global pandemic Covid-19, citizens of Maafannu medhu constituencies have already been disinfecting the area since the 14th of this month.
Government has already taken countless steps to deter a massive viral outbreak in the country with public parks, café and restaurants already ordered to close.
