The Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has asserted the education budget was a testament to the current administration's firm policy on prioritizing the education sector.
Maldives President spoke in this regard during the ceremony held on Wednesday evening to mark the golden jubilee anniversary of Rinbudhoo School.
At the ceremony the Maldives head of state congratulated the school's alumni and current students as well as the teachers and parents of the school.
President Solih highlighted the current administration's education policy's most significant responsibility was shaping the future generations of the country; as beneficial and responsible citizens.
The statesman spoke on strengthening the education system to build a community centered around national development, with "the mind and skillset to face the economic and developmental challenges of tomorrow."
Current administration's education policy was also focused around building "a generation of innovative, creative and skilled citizens."
