Former Vice President Dr Mohamed Jameel has indicted several political leaders of faux pas estimation on the sitting President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed.

Jameel accused Solih and Nasheed of being close stealthily allies, despite the false judgment by several political figures who assume the earlier to be falling apart in coming to terms.

Speaking in this regard, Jameel further laid blame on Solih and Nasheed for working behind closed days and on the same page, be it on the budgetary, concessions or even judiciary issues. He went on to add that the judgments of the bond between the earlier by some political leaders in the country are nothing but falling in slip.

Jameel’s comments came at a time while several leading figures on the opposition are reproving the Solih Administration of pilfering the country in the name of budgetary and concessional matters.

In the meantime, former President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayoom is serving a 5 year sentence in jail after being proven guilty of money laundering. This has sparked rage and anger in the opposition factions, hence accusing the verdict of being political in nature. The opposition is demanding an immediate release of ex-president Yameen who is now serving the jail term in Maafushi Prison.
