Bank of Maldives (BML) and American Express announced the launch of the Experience Maldives destination campaign, created exclusively for American Express Card Members.

The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC), and National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM).

This two-year initiative offers American Express Card Members a variety of exclusive privileges and curated discounts at several resorts, liveaboards, and merchants across the country.

Benefits include 10-30 percent savings on spa treatments, beach dining, and water activities, as well as complimentary experiences such as floating breakfasts, room upgrades, and unique local adventures – all designed to deliver a premium and memorable getaway in the Maldives.

CEO and Managing Director of BML, Mohamed Shareef, noted that BML was to partner with American Express to bring the ‘Experience Maldives’ campaign to life.

This initiative will enhance the travel experience of American Express Card Members by offering curated privileges that showcase the Maldives’ natural beauty and rich culture, while also elevating the destination’s appeal among premium and discerning travellers. Supported by exclusive offers from participating properties, the campaign reinforces the Maldives’ global standing as a top choice for luxury tourism

This marks the fourth edition of the Experience Maldives campaign, following successful launches in 2017, 2019, and 2023. The past campaigns provided American Express Card Members with privileged access to premium services, including exclusive rates, complimentary experiences, and enhanced holiday benefits.
