Ministry of Housing, Land and Urban Development says it has completed issuing land plots to the recipients who won plots from Hulhumale' Phase 2 under the Binveriya Housing Scheme.
The Ministry said that, as per President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's pledge, it has completed handing over land plots to the recipients who won plots from Hulhumale' Phase 2 before the end of October.
It did not specify the number of recipients who have now received their land plots under the housing scheme originated by the former government.
Meanwhile, the draw for land plots issued from Gulheefalhu is underway in Male' today.
The Ministry had said that the draw will be held today after the government compiled the land use plan for Gulheefalhu despite the former administration allocating plots and handing over registries to the applicants who won plots from Gulheefalhu.
