Police have arrested three individuals for kidnapping an individual and cutting off the victim's finger during the incident.

The suspects arrested in the case include an 18-year-old, a 21-year-old, and a 23-year-old. All three are local men.

The Criminal Court has ordered that all three should be kept in remand custody till the end of their trials.

The three are charged with assault with a sharp weapon, assault, and unauthorized detention. The Court order said that there were sufficient evidence to prove the charges against the suspects.

It said that this includes statements, snapshots of CCTV footage, photographic evidence of the victim's injuries, police intelligence report and other evidence.

The Court document said that the arrest was ordered for the safety and security of the community under the Prohibition of Intimidation and Possession of Dangerous Weapons and Sharp Objects Act.

The documents also stated that the victim of the crime was someone who worked with the suspects and that the suspect denied kidnapping the victim. They also denied cutting off the victim's finger and said that the injury was sustained while using a power tool.

However, the photos of the victim suggest that the physical assault was intentional. The order also noted that evidence of physical assault had been submitted.
