At today's Official general session, the Male' City Council decided to name the street behind Maafanu Madharaaa as 'Palestine Hingun'.
This decision was unanimously passed by the participants of today's council and it was also decided that the street would be designed and decorated in a way that would depict the history of Palestine.
The Mayor said the reason for this is to give hope to the Palestinian people and to make the people of the Maldives, both young and old, know about the Palestinian people's jihad forever
