PNC Chairperson Abdul Raheem Abdullah (Adhurey) has indirectly aimed comments at the former Vice President and head of former President Yameen's legal team Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed by saying that he remembers who had worked against Yameen back in 2018 and helped bring in MDP back to power.
He made these comments while speaking at a gathering on a trip to Addu City last night.
Adhurey said that some are working to divide PPM and PNC and that they won't be successful.
He said that they won't be given any chances to divide the coalition parties. Speaking more in this regard, Adhurey said MDP and agents of MDP worked to divide PPM and PNC and inflicted injustices that were all borne by Yameen.
Adhurey further said that until President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu was elected as President, MDP kept on mistreating the former President.
He noted that supporters of the opposition coalition remained steadfast behind Yameen and would continue to work under his leadership.
Adhurey urged the supporters of the coalition not to be fazed by the rumors of division being circulated by the opponents and to remain steadfast before the parliamentary election.
He further said that the outgoing government of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inflicted several injustices on the people and that no should forget the people who worked to bring MDP into power.
