Director of Transition Abdul Raheem Abdullah (Adhurey) says the transitional committees will be able to wrap up their work by tomorrow.

Speaking about the Transitional Committees, Adhurey said that the Committees were convened to complete their work in 15 days. However, he said that the work was delayed as the Committees were unable to finish their work in 15 days and that this was because the Committees did not get cooperation from some government organizations.

He added that some of the organizations were late in providing the information requested by the Committees.

But he said considering how the work is going now, the Committees would be able to wrap up their work by tomorrow.

The Transitional Committees began their work on the 7th of this month with 15 teams convened for the work. Out of the 15 teams, 7 teams were assigned to State-Owned Companies and the other 8 teams were assigned to Government Organizations.

The Transitional Committees must finish their work before President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu takes the oath of Office and the Committees must submit a report to the Director of Transition.
