Transitional Spokesperson Mohamed Firuzul Abdullah Haleel says political influence have hindered the organization responsibilities of some organizations formed under special laws and that these organizations have expressed concerns about their situation.

Speaking at a press conference today, Firuzul said that the transitional committee have met with most of the government organizations and that they have been holding additional meetings with some of the organizations.

He noted that meetings held with government organizations and independent organizations highlighted alarming concerns.

Firuzul said that for organizations formed under laws, political influence is so deep that the organizations are unable to perform the duties stipulated under the law.

Also, the organizations have been unable to find resources, human resources and budget needed to perform their duties to the full extend of the law and also hinder their technical responsibilities

Firuzul also said that state owned companies are finding it difficult to manage their cashflow because they are unable to get money for the projects they have completed.

He added that huge cash flows would be injected into these companies in the next two months for them to manage their daily expenditures.

He also said that top managements of the companies and agencies were giving their full cooperation to the transitional committee.
