First Lady Fazna Ahmed has today met with Sajidha Mohamed, the Spouse of President-Elect Dr Mohamed Muizzu.
The President's Office said via 'X' that the meeting took place earlier this morning at the Official Residence of the President – Mulee'aage.
It further said that First Lady Fazna congratulated the incoming First Lady on Dr Muizzu's election victory in the 2023 Presidential Election.
The President's Office also shared pictures of the meeting between the two ladies.
The two ladies were actively involved in the Presidential Campaign for their respective spouses.
First Lady Fazna campaigned mainly in the capital Male' and was involved in the door-to-door campaign activities especially ahead of the second round of voting last month.
While Saajidhaa joined President-elect Muizzu on his campaign trips to the Atolls and spoke in front of crowds to garner support for her husband who eventually won the election against incumbent President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
