Police have arrested a couple (a man and a woman) who have worked together on several theft and robbery incidents.

They arrested a 41-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man in relation to the case and they have now been remanded in custody.

Court documents from the remand hearing say that the court has seen enough evidence to accuse the duo of these crimes and extended their remand period as they might put the community in danger if they are released from custody.

Police said during the hearing that the pair had a history of working together on previous thefts and that their record sheet was long.

The Court said that both the suspects were currently being investigated for another case the Police are pursuing.

Both suspects were given a remand period of 30 days for their alleged crimes.
