Housing Ministry says it is working to publish the final list of flat recipients under the 'Gedhoruveriya' housing scheme by the end of this month.
The Ministry had said on the 13th of this month that it would publish the list within one week but refrained from giving an exact date for the much-awaited flat list.
Today, State Minister at the Ministry Akram Kamamaaludeen said the Ministry is working to publish the final list before the end of this week and that it would publish the list via the government gazette.
Tomorrow is the last working day of the month as both the 27th and 28th of this month have now been declared as public holidays.
The Ministry published the temporary list of flat recipients last month and said that it had decided to give flats to all who met the criteria for the housing scheme.
The Gedhoruveriya Housing scheme is open to just the residents of Male'.
