President of PNC Abdul Rahmaan Abdullah( Adhurey) says former President Abdullah Yameen implemented policies that brought huge benefits to the people and his policy was to govern in a way that brought developmental progress to the country.
Today while speaking at a campaign rally in Shaviyani Kanditheem, Adhurey responded to comments that say that the PNC Candidate Dr. Mohamed Muizzu had no policies.
Adhurey said that the country was in its current predicament because this administration failed to implement Yameen's policies and that this government left behind many policies he implemented just for the benefit of the people and tried their own policies.
Noting that the country was seeing the consequences of these policies today, Adhurey said that ex-President Yameen strived to bring about development-centric policies.
He highlighted that no one knows this best than PNC Presidential Candidate Muizzu.
Criticizing the current administration, Adhurey said that the government is lying when it says that the country's economy has improved in the last five years.
Adding that the government statement that the number of poor people have decreased in the islands is also incorrect, Adhurey implored to the public not to cast their votes without thought in the September 9th Presidential election.
