MP for Faresmaathoda Constituency and running mate of PNC Presidential candidate Hussain Latheef (Senbe') aims heavy criticism at the current administration for the health services of his own island, Gaafu Alifu Faresmaathoda.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Faresmaathoda last night, Senbe' said that under the administration of former President Abdullah Yameen, work was underway to develop a modern health center on the island, and by the time Yameen's term came to an end the health center provided service 24 hours a day.

He said that but now the health center has gone back 4 years in terms of providing services as it has not been managed in a sustainable manner.

Senbe' went on to say that under the administration of PNC Candidate Male City Mayor Mohamed Muizzu, changes would be brought and that the health center would be improved just as the residents of the island want.

The MP described Faresmathoda as an island whose residents love development and politics and that their thirst for developmental changes is evident to anyone who visits them.

He also said that the island's youth had an immense love for football and that he knew how much they have been 'begging' the government to build a football stadium on the island but to no avail. He promised that under the administration of Muizzu, the stadium would be developed.

Touching on the support being given to PNC after it began its campaign trip in the north and south, he is seeing the determination and the steadfastness of the people in their will to see former President Yameen be freed from jail.
