President and MDP Presidential Candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih says the government would begin releasing land plots to Male residents under the Binveriya Scheme next Tuesday.
The President made these remarks while speaking at a campaign rally in Noonu Kudafari today.
President Solih said that releasing land plots for Male' residents was now at the latest stage and that the government would begin releasing the land plots on Tuesday.
The latest information from the Planning Ministry showed that the Ministry had almost completed reviewing the complaint submitted against the temporary list of land plot recipients and noted that these complaints would not require major changes to the list.
Currently, the Ministry is allocating the land plots and deciding from where the land plots would be given.
The Ministry said that it would then proceed to publish the final list of recipients and that the recipients can view the size of the land plot they would receive from the list.
The Government decided to award land plots to over 10,000 people which amounts to roughly 5,000 applications.
