President of PNC Abdul Raheem Abdullah (Adhurey) says in order to defeat the current administration, the public should show more courage and remain committed and not be afraid to make their stand against the government.
He made the remarks at an opposition rally held last night.
Adhurey said that to free the Opposition's Presidential Candidate Abdullah Yameen from jail, more should be done and it would be very difficult to defeat such tyrannical administration.
He said that the public should show courage and remain steadfast in order to topple the government and show that they are not afraid to stand against the administration.
Adhurey called on the Judges not to be enablers of the government's political purposes.
He stated that the country is heading towards an unfathomable destination and that this was a calculated effort. Adhurey said that Maldivians must be vigilant of such plans or else they will be soon ruled by India.
Adhurey encouraged party members not to lose heart and help Yameen's campaign from wherever they were.
Yameen was sentenced to 11-years in jail last year after being convicted of the money laundering and accepting bribes in the lease of Vaavu.Aaarah case.
