Police say they are still searching for 73-year-old Hassan Ali (Hassanfulhu) of Alifu Alifu Atoll Mathiveri who disappeared last month.
They said that the search continues for Hassanfulhu who was last seen on the 31st of last month. Police said that they are searching underwater by sending divers and that they have searched households and abandoned houses too.
While the Police continue their search operations, the people of Mathiveri are also continuing their own search for the beloved member of the community.
They have checked the spots he usually visits and the islands in the atoll he frequents. They have also searched the lagoon of Mathiveri and the lagoons of three islands nearby.
The 73-year-old was last seen around 10:30 in the morning on the 31st of last month. Police confirmed that he was reported missing around 09:37 the next day.
His family said that Hassanfulhi takes phone and bag where ever he goes and that these items were left home.
