The President’s Office opens applications for the vacant post of a member at the Maldives Broadcasting Commission (MBC).
It said that applications will be accepted at the President’s Office on January 22-23, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The President's Office also said that application forms are available on the official website of the President’s Office.
This comes after MBC Vice President Ismail Gais resigned from his post last Sunday.
He said that he resigned from MBC to free himself for other work. His resignation comes amid increased MDP activity ahead of the Primary.
After his resignation, 6 members remain at the Commission. This includes Commission President Mariyam Waheeda, Member Mohamed Fazeen, Member Aminath Saraahath Izzath, Member Amjad Waheed, Member Ali Yoosuf, Member Aminath Ameena, and Member Shifla Ibrahim.
