A woman who plunged into the sea aboard a buggy has died while under treatment.
The foreigner was injured in an incident at a resort in Baa Atoll when she drove the buggy into the water off a jetty on the resort.
The 26-year-old Morrocan was a staff of the resort and was then transferred to Male' and taken to ADK hospital for treatment.
She died around 10:11 pm last night.
Sources have said that the woman died while she was being treated in the ICU of the hospital.
Police have also confirmed that they received the report of the incident that happened on the 30th of last month.
They added that they were further investigating the incident.
